My beast has 4 huge webbed feet, translucent wings like a fly, a mane of a tiger and a furry body of a bear. It eats only ferns but defends itself from predators at will. It burrows into trees near swamps, this creature lives for three and a half years.

I really like the language you used describing your beast to us. Does you beast have a name?
It must be a great swimmer if it has webbed feet but equally a good flyer if it has wings.
Interesting that it only eats ferns, what do you think its favourite would be?
It has quite a short life span too. Is this because of any particular reason.
How big does it grow to? I am imagining that it gets quite big?
